ND HIGHWAY PATROL DOOR INSIGNIA

The North Dakota Highway Patrol door insignia features the profile of Marcellus Red Tomahawk. He was a Teton Dakota (Sioux) leader and government police officer. The agency officially adopted this distinctive profile as its vehicle door emblem and department symbol in 1951.

This particular door emblem is in tremendous shape. That and the coloration make it a tremendous display piece for any collection. Very, very hard to find for purchase and highly sought after!
